EAB Accelerated Esperanto course
As with all our courses, the Accelerated includes support from a tutor* who is an experienced Esperanto-speaker. He/she will monitor your progress by checking your answers, highlighting and explaining any areas that you have misunderstood, and answer any questions or queries that you may have as you learn the language.
* Please note that this EAB correspondence course, with tutorial support, is only available to students in the UK.
The course comprises:
- The Esperanto version of the celebrated 'Teach Yourself' series which includes grammar explanations, texts to study and exercises with answers.
- The pocket Esperanto Dictionary by A. McLinen. This is a two-way, fully comprehensive dictionary with more than 70,000 words and expressions.
- An audio CD, giving examples of model pronunciation and pronunciation hints, expressions in English and in Esperanto, a song and an Esperanto computer course.
- A 15-unit course guide, which includes tutor marked exercises, sentences for translation and, from lesson nine onwards, essay topics varying in length from 200-400 words.
- A copy of Jen Londono. An Esperanto version of the 'Ladybird' series book. An excellent first reader with full-colour pictures and one-page text on the most famous London sights.
EAB offers a range of different level exams for those who would like to gain a certificate and the work-book includes a practise paper for the Intermediate level exam.
